Back by Popular Demand - Dr Isla Fishburn

What an awesome seminar when she came on Feb 2018 so we have managed to get her back. Dont miss out. So much information. I have been using the techniques with my own dogs and what a difference

Come and learn how to support your dog’s wellness and behaviour to create a harmonious hound. You will also learn a lot about yourself too. The workshop will cover an introduction to the following topics: ~ The different causes of wellness ~ How to view your dog as a celllular animal and animal energetics ~ Identity and personality and how to recognise these ~ Canine emotions ~ Group composition, interaction and co-existence ~ Diet ~ Canine stress ~ Natural communication ~ Teaching your dog to be successful ~ Understanding correction ~ Environmental imbalances, development and interaction ~ Natural healing techniques to improve wellness ~ Human wellness

Your dog is a living animal that has his/her own biology. Your dog can experience imbalances within its system as a result of physical, environmental, nutritional, toxic, emotional, spiritual or physiological stressors. These can manifest in your dog in different ways depending on your dog’s individual identity, history, learning capacity, environmental experiences, development, co-existence and exposure. In order to resolve these imbalances or prevent them from occurring, there are several interrelated factors that you need to know about your dog; as a canine, as a living animal and as an individual - and how your dog is communicating to you about these imbalances.

Often, imbalances in your dog will be shown through behavioural or physical changes; extreme signals that can be used to alert you that your dog’s wellness is not at optimum functioning. Equally, your dog may show behavioural responses that you simply don’t understand, don’t know how to best to support or are unsure how to teach your dog successfully. You may simply need to understand what your dog is as an animal; it’s needs, function, interaction and communication.

Learn how to co-exist with a happy, healthy dog by being introduced to canine wellness from one of the most highly regarded professionals in her field.

Dr Isla Fishburn is a canine wellness practitioner who has a BSc in Zoology and a Masters and PhD in Conservation Biology. She has spent several years working daily at a captive wolf sanctuary and continues to work closely with captive wolves. Isla has a passion to motivate others to play their part in conserving wildlife and hopes this will happen by teaching others how to improve their dog’s physical, emotional, mental and spiritual health. She combines her knowledge of biology, canine behaviour, animal energetics, natural remedies and energy work to improve wellness, health and harmony.

The first day Isla will present a talk on canine wellness (above). The second day is a practical day where Isla will hold a canine zoopharmacognosy workshop. A maximum of three handler places will be available and a maximum of 20 attendees in total. Zoopharmacognosy is the term used to describe how canines (and all animals) have the innate ability to select resources from plant material to improve or support their emotional and/or physical health and wellness.
